Pork BBQ

Serving: 4-6 portions

  • 2 kgs of Pork Shoulder (Sliced thinly)
  • Marinade ingredients:
  • 1 cup soy sauce
  • ½ cup calamansi juice
  • ½ cup LORINS patis
  • ½ cup banana ketchup
  • 3 tbsps garlic powder
  • 5 tbsps dark brown sugar
  • 1 tsp ground black pepper
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 2 cups lemon or lime soda
  1. In a large mixing bowl, mix all the marinade ingredients and the thinly sliced pork shoulder. Cover the bowl and marinate inside the refrigerator for at least 3 hours or more.
  2. Prepare your Pork BBQ by skewering them in bamboo sticks.
  3. Heat-up the grill. Grill each pork BBQ for 3 to 5 minutes per side until the meat is thoroughly cooked. Baste the BBQ with the same recipe for the marinade when flipping it over.
  4. Serve hot with your own vinegar dipping sauce.
